Pictures from Shane

Shane e-mailed us a bunch of the pictures he took over graduation weekend several of which I've used in the blog. He had so many good ones tho (no surprise) I've put together a group for you to enjoy. We'll start with the pre-graduation dinner and proceed from there.

This shot was taken from the second floor of our office while Pat, Lindsey & I were at the airport waiting (& waiting) for Ty & Jerilyn. In the shot below Gino's is the green building with the sign board out front.

Here we document Katie's very first flight with Papa. She was very calm.Seth & Noah checking out the basement at the Anderson House. As many times as I've toured the house this was a first for me too.
Pat's motorcycle a Victory Kingpin. He and Shane were able to take a ride and check out the flood waters coming up on either side of 65 Highway. We are used to this but it is pretty amazing. The earthen dikes are progressively lower going away from the road so the water doesn't cover the road but it gets pretty close!

Why God made helmets!

Ok - the first thing you need to know while watching this is that Seth is alright. You also need to know what a heartless Nana I am because I never stopped filming to make sure my grandson was alright!! But Steph assured me he was fine so maybe I could be a news photographer in the Middle East! I believe Seth even brought a runner in - with his head.

Kittens, kittens, kittens!

There may be a few folks left who are not aware of Audrey's love of cats - but just a few! Notice the very proud mama smile.

When you live in the country you get used to creatures posing as humans dumping animals with the assumption that either you will take over their responsibities or the animal will revert to the wild. Thus started the Walters Cat Ranch. One pregnant kitty = numerous kittens which = more pregnant kitties - well you get the idea.

Jeff & Steph are finding homes as quickly as possible and taking those left to the vets for some minor surgry.

Meanwhile Jeff has built a wonderful shed (originally intended for the dogs) where the cats are safe, warm and fed.

Ryan wasn't the only one who graduated! The same weekend Seth graduated into Webelos Sunday afternoon.

We are all very proud of Seth for his work in Scouts. He takes his responsibity seriously and with Mom and Dad's support he is doing very well. Congratulations Seth!!
