Noah at Bat

Noah at bat - he did great! This was his second game and he had forgotten his arm brace so batting was a bit of a challenge.

Audrey's fifth grade program was called 'We haz jazz' where they explored the history of jazz. The kids needed to dress as 'jazz like' as they could which was a bit difficult in this era. This shot was taken outside after the program. Audrey looked great and did a wonderful job!

The dancers parted long enough for me to get a quick shot of Audrey. Doesn't she look cute?

Little Oaks

This is a short song about an acorn in your pocket. Notice Noah's cast is off and he is down to just a brace. The doctor said his arm is healing beautifully. Good thing - baseball is right around the corner!

Obviously the stress of the concert is over! Do you see just a little bit of ornery in those eyes?

This look may cost Noah's parents many sleepless nights! Noah and his friend, Jordan, enjoyed the concert as much as we did.

Sing a long

This video is a song where the kids sing a line and the audience responds. Apparently hand movements are optional!

Katie takes a few minutes out from applying her chapstick to show us her basket. She is fascinated with chapstick and hit the motherlode with two tubes for Easter. Chapstick and candy - it doesn't get much better than that! Happy Easter everyone!

It was chilly but the Easter bunny left a LOT of eggs to find. When it was suggested that Katie look out the window and she spotted eggs it was a race to get her coat on and out the door. Before long the basket weighed more than Katie but, taking her job and her candy seriously, she refused any help. Joy siphoned the excess off, when she could, into Caleb's basket. At one point Papa suggested Katie look up in the tree (meaning the fork in the trunk) and she about fell over looking up into the branches. Caleb was OK hanging out with Papa and watching the whole process.

Easter Sunday

We spent Easter Sunday with Ryan & Joy this year. We got a big kick out of Katie's basket vs. Caleb's basket. He may consult an attorney when he gets older! After church and a wonderful dinner we accompanied Katie on her Easter egg hunt. The photo of Caleb in his chair really reminds me of his daddy.

Springtime?

Happy Easter!! We finally have had a pretty, although cool, day. I thought I had better get the pictures of the bradford pear tree before the wind cleaned it off! Pat took a minute to corral the three dogs while Simon calmly looked on. The first picture is looking east at our neighbor's farm. My favorite is the flag through the tree. A good reminder to keep our country in prayer this Easter. God Bless!

Interview with Walters

Okay - hopefully this loads this time. A few weekends ago Steph & Jeff both had to work so we had the pleasure of Audrey, Seth & Noah's company. The weather was just nasty, cold and wet so we went to see "Monsters vs Aliens" Saturday afternoon. The movie was 3-D so we all got super cool glasses. The kids wanted to share what happened with everyone so if you are one of those folks who can't stand hearing the end of a movie - DON'T WATCH! Otherwise - enjoy!
