We've had some questions on why we haven't added much to the blog. The answer is - we haven't been doing much other than trying to survive some really chilly temps for us. Saturday was fun though so here are some shots. We started our morning 'skyping' with John & Lindsey. That is always a good way to start the day. We headed to the local airport to fly to Lawrence, KS for a Pilots for Christ meeting. The morning was a bit cloudy but lightened up as we flew further south to pick up another couple. We are slowly starting to warm up but as you can see the Missouri river still had plenty of ice on it. Our meeting was well attended (everyone had cabin fever). It was a planning meeting for the year. Pilots for Christ is an organization where pilots fly missions of mercy for folks who need to get somewhere and can't afford it. Usually these flights are a medical nature. Pat flew a couple on one leg from St. Louis to east Kansas City. They had started out in Virgina (where he got terribly sick on vacation) and wound up back home in Salina, Kansas.
